Dr. Dalitso Kabambe is one of Malawi’s most experienced and accomplished public servants, with over 23 years of strategic leadership in economic planning, fiscal management, diplomacy, and institutional reform. Widely respected as a technocrat with an impeccable track record, Dr. Kabambe has held senior leadership positions across key ministries, culminating in his appointment as Governor of the Reserve Bank of Malawi from 2017 to 2020. His work has shaped Malawi’s macroeconomic direction, improved international confidence, and laid the foundation for sustainable growth.
